Cyber First Aid

Facilitated training for the human layer of cyber risk.

Cyber First Aid (CFA) is a modular, facilitated training programme that equips teams to recognise, respond to, and recover from cyber incidents under pressure. It combines practical incident response with psychological resilience techniques, addressing not just what to do but how to stay effective when it matters most.

CFA is available as in-person, virtual, or blended delivery. It is designed for non-technical staff at every level of an organisation.

Why CFA is different

Most training tells people what not to click. CFA helps them know what to do next.

CFA is built on the Human Layer Kill Chain framework, which maps how attacks exploit human behaviour rather than purely technical weaknesses. This means training is structured around the real dynamics of incidents — overload, time pressure, impaired decision-making, and the psychological aftermath of a breach — not just awareness of threat types.

Each session embeds validated psychological measures to assess impact and build an evidence base for clients, regulators, and insurers.

CFA and the Toolkit

Training and platform working together

CFA training is designed to work alongside the CFA Toolkit featuring AiNGEiL.

Training builds capability and confidence. The Toolkit reinforces learning, supports ongoing preparedness, and provides the evidence outputs that demonstrate resilience activity over time.

Many organisations begin with a CFA session and progress to a Toolkit subscription as the natural next step.
