CFA Toolkit featuring AiNGEiL

The platform for human-layer cyber resilience.

CFA Toolkit featuring AiNGEiL is a standalone subscription platform that helps organisations learn, prepare, respond, recover, and evidence resilience at the human layer of cyber risk. It is not a content library or awareness portal. It is a practical operating platform for the work that happens before, during, and after a real cyber incident.

What the toolkit does

One platform. Five connected functions.

Learn and prepare

HLKC-informed learning modules, guided refreshers, scenario-based activities, and practical Cyber Essentials preparation.

Not generic awareness content — structured preparation built around how attacks actually exploit human behaviour.

Respond to incidents

Step-by-step incident playbooks, suspicious message checking, thread analysis, incident logging, triage support, and guided response workflows.

Practical help when it matters most.

Recover and review

Post-incident review frameworks, guided debrief support, action tracking, and prompts that address the human impact of cyber incidents.

Supporting organisations to learn, not just to document.

Evidence and assurance

Evidence capture, downloadable summaries, and board-ready reports that demonstrate resilience activity to auditors, insurers, clients, and internal governance.

Compliance evidence that reflects actual practice.

Admin and organisational control

User and seat management, permissions, workflow settings, and plan controls.

Straightforward for organisations without a dedicated IT team.

Introducing AiNGEiL

Autonomous intelligent aNti-social-enGineering agEnt at the human Layer.

AiNGEiL is the intelligent capability being developed within the Toolkit. In its current form, AiNGEiL supports suspicious message checking, thread analysis, incident triage, guided response prompts, structured post-incident review, and evidence-ready summaries.

Over time, AiNGEiL is being developed into a more advanced intelligent capability that strengthens the platform’s distinctiveness and long-term value.

AiNGEiL is designed around support and practical utility, not surveillance. It is intended to help people make better decisions under pressure, not to monitor or assess them.

Built on original research

Grounded in the Human Layer Kill Chain

The Toolkit is built on the Human Layer Kill Chain (HLKC), an original research framework developed through Bournemouth University and Cyber Innovations. The HLKC maps how cyber attacks exploit human vulnerabilities — trust, urgency, overload, authority pressure, and impaired decision-making. This gives the Toolkit a structured foundation that generic awareness platforms do not have.
